Dry Blast Cabinet Type Shot Blasting Machine

SURFEX^® designs and manufactures the Air Operated Dry Blast Cabinet Type Machine for Manual Blasting a wide range of components (Castings / Fabricated / Forgings / Automobile Components / etc.).

The machine will be based on either Suction Principle or Pressure Principle.

1. In case of Pressure Principle Based Dry Blast Cabinet Type Machine:
The Pressure Blasting Machine uses the Direct Pressure Principle to draw abrasive media from blast generator (pressure vessel) to the blast nozzle and propelled against the component surface. In this system a pressurized vessel is there which will contain the abrasive and this abrasive media is metered into the compressed air stream at the pot and travels the length of the blast hose and out of the blast nozzle under pressure.

2. In case of Suction Principle Based Dry Blast Cabinet Type Machine:
The Suction Blasting Machine uses the Suction Principle to draw abrasive from a non-pressurized storage hopper (bottom hopper of the cabinet) to the suction blast gun, where it is combined with the compressed air stream and propelled against the component surface. Suction blasting machines are most easily distinguished by having two hoses (one for air and one for blasting abrasive media) running to the suction blast gun.
